Great tip—7980X is better for my build and more affordable.

Maybe you can recommend what kind of RAM I should consider?
Also, do you know of any great 27-inch monitors?

Hello!

I'm planning to build a new workstation for work, and this time, I want a computer that will remain fast and reliable for a long time.

Here’s my current build plan:

CPU: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7985WX
Motherboard: ASRock WRX90 Creator
RAM: 256GB (8x32GB) – I haven’t decided on the best option yet.
GPU: GeForce RTX 4070 Super 12GB
SSD: 4TB – Still deciding on the specific model.
Cooler: What would be a good cooler for this CPU?
PSU: Corsair 1200W
Case: Fractal Design Define 7 XL

Questions:
What can I change to make this PC better?
Do you think this build is worth the investment?

In most cases I use floorgenerator or railclone for tiles, but maybe there is more faster way to do it?

I have a question, is it possible to turn off Physical MTL in corona converter?
It's super annoying when I use my older material presets or 3D models ant after converter they changed in a bad way.

We had a few very similar cases and it was always either:
- overheating
- not enough powerful power supply
- other hardware issue (e.g. motherboard not suitable for specific CPU)
- overheating / other issue due to overclocking

So I would advise to check these things first.

Motherboard asus rog strix x570 atx and PSU 850W, and no overclocking.
 So maybe it's overheating...

Hello!
When I press stop and denoiser starts working 3ds max crashes.
I was thinking that maybe there is something wrong with 3ds max or corona, but after I reinstall everything nothing changes.
Maybe there is problem with cpu heating, I have AMD ryzen 3950x with noctua NH-D15, case fractal design R6.
When render is in process, cpu temperature is about "70-75C" and in task manager I can see that cpu works at 99% sometimes 82%, but when denoiser starts working cpu temperature
rises to 84-87C.

Hello,
I'm looking to build new workstation from local shops.
Working only with corona.
CPU- AMD Ryzen 9 3950X
Motherboard- TRX40 AORUS MASTER: GIGABYTE TRX40 AORUS MASTER AMD TR4
Memory- Crusial 4x32 128GB DDR4 3200MT/s BL2K32G32C16U4B
CPU Cooler- I read that Noctua NH-D15 is great option for this cpu, but I cant find one in my local shops., so I'm thinking about BE QUIET Dark Rock PRO TR4 cooler.
GPU- GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2060 8GB.
Case- Fractal Design Define R6
PSU- Chieftec PSU POWER SMART GPS-1250C, 1250W, 14cm, A.PFC, 80+ GOLD
Is this a good choice or I need to change something?
