@cgdigi - Actualy achieve get wet look is simple. Your material is should be darker than usual. And surely reflective (0,95) and must be bumpy or glossy material. Thats it. :) For example this is my stone road material:

Hi. I actually use Vray. But I wanted to try Corona and I did this on my first try. It took me two days to do it. I realy liked Corona. Most user friendly rendering software I have ever seen. Enjoy :)

No, any object has no animation. This is a basic scene. Only cylinder and scatter objects. I tried two version of max. 2014 and 2016. Both of them has same problem. I send you this basic scene.

This is a another problem example. If I bend edge of the cylinder with taper, scatters start rotating. This is worst than other.

Cylinder has very simple and standard rotating. Only rotate x axes. I'd try other simple objects. When I tried sphere the situation was even worse. All of them just do not move, they were rotating instantly. This is a scatter parameters:

Hi. I have problem with scatter. If I use scatter with rotating object, for example cylinder, scatter objects has little moving and disappearing when rotation.
