is there a way to reproduce the thickness/depth of a glass mosaic tile in a material? i can't seem to find a tutorial or a material of that sort. https://cdn3.volusion.com/3ua53.wm7vn/v/vspfiles/photos/160-GC004-2.jpg?1432638537 as you can see, the grout is droping a shadow. is there a way t achieve this - not with defuse but actual texture thickness of some sort? and by a material i mean not individual geometry - but a texture for wide areas.

Is there a way to render a buildings elevation/facade in ortho mode, so the reflections work correctly? I know that corona supports standard free camera in ortho mode or direct render from front/left view. But as i try to render this way, the spherical hdri is either out of proportion or blurred. Only workaround i came up with is putting a plane with an image in front of the view, and setting its object properties to not cast shadows and not to be visible to camera.

I took a pano(panoramic) photo with my phone, and need to make a visuaization - set the new building in this photo. Problem is - the photo is distorted because it's panoramic. And now i don't know to render the building to match the photo. If the lines are straight then i use match perspective, but this is a different situation.
Any insights?

thought so too, but no, doesn't change anything.
i just noticed in the old scene - which was created using an older version of corona - that the materials that where created earlier behave like the second material ( don't have a white glow). But as i try to create a new material with the exact same settings, it apears to be glowing white.

i was expecting smthing like this - a similar material from a different scene

as you may notice, the first material has a white glow, wheres the second one doesn't. what is weird, that scene units, gamma and so on appear to be the same in both scenes.

and another issue, that seems to be appeared with the new update:
when i use 1 - white for reflection and lower the glossiness to 0,3 and lower ( it starts to show sooner) - the reflection turns white. I didn't have such issue with previous version

hi, when i use reflection for a plane, it produces some kind of shadow, which is not there when no reflection is applied. No overlapping geometry. It seems that the problem is consistent trough all the scene. I'm using max 2014, corona 1.2.1. System and display units are in cm.
