only 3 seconds?, please share your settings

Oh, didn't notice that! I resumed the render from the day before, I was hoping it would show the number of passes as I had forgotten, but it showed 0 passes so I rounded up the number to 400.

I my opinion it looks good for a beginning! I like these reflections on wooden table.
I think there are some bright pixels in the corners of the room (top of the screen). Does your room have thickness? If not, you should add shell modifier or add thickness otherwise or these bright dots might appear.
Some parts look too clean, like chrome elements to the right and this pink oven thing but it probably just needs some tweaking. Adding some background would change a lot.

Thank you for the input, you're right about the room guess i forgot I detached the ceiling. I'll see what I can do about the chrome/copper bits and oven.

My first try with corona, I'd like some pointers on what needs improving.

I modified the map in photoshop and it seems it needed some level adjustments. The reflection glossiness needs some work though, any ways to increase sampling? it looks not so convincing.
I'm trying to get this look:

Umm... To me it looks just like a bump map.
Yes it looks like a bump map, but does it look like wood?

I have just started using corona and I noticed using bump maps in a material results a noisy/grainy surface. Is there a special way of achieving bump effect with corona?
