Hi,
The file was created with the previous daily build (02-20) on Max 2016. I did switch to that version and it's working well again (appart some artefacts caused by the new sample).
I can't send you the scene right now because it's not optmised and very heavy.

I can't open old files (previous daily build 02-20) with the new daily build. 3dsMax encounters an error :

Hi,
We are looking for a multidisciplinary 3D / VFX artist.
Freelance or in house - if you wanna change life and come live in Dijon (21), France =D.

The job consists in production of various content for a professionnal esport team such as :
- stills and animations for social medias
- graphic content (screensavers / prints / clothes / goodies...)

You must be a pro user of :
- 3dsMax (high modelling level with good unwrapping & topology)
- Corona and/or Vray
- Simulations plugins (Phoenix FD / TyFlow / Rayfire)
- RailClone & ForestPack is a plus
- AfterEffect for final touch and adding extra layers of effects if needed

You will be supported by very comitted leaders who will give you all the amenities to let you express your artistic side!
You will be driven by a french, english speaker artistic director wide open to any suggestions to make evolve the graphic identity of the team to the next level.

You can use a CoronaRaySwitch map linked in your diffuse slot where you will put a CoronaColor white (210) in the GI slot.

Ok, then how can i make it work?
What's the way to use those controllers? Do i have to use a controler with a function (FloatExpression? > degToRad(x)) ? I'm a basic user and i really don't know about coding ... A micro-super-fast tutorial would be very appreciated =D

Hi,
I'm actually using max controllers to control multiple triplanar maps values (see attachment).
I have a problem due to wrong output values controlling the xyz rotation of the triplanar map. Don't know if it's a 3ds max problem or a Corona one.
Any help would be great!

Hi,
I have exactly the same issue (pretty big one when you attend to save time rendering just a wall to present a client different versions :/ ). I was about to write a post when i saw yours ...
I'm using the last version of corona & 3ds max too.

No worries, it's a fantastic set! By the way your website appears to be down.

Looks like it got hacked or something like that. Google warns me about the pontential dangerosity of scenected website ... No way to navigate throughit as all the links are borken :/

Considering new PBR workflow wouldn't it make more sense to have reflection and glossiness values "reversed", reflection to 1 and glossingess to 0.

You could try this :
1 - select your foliage (edit mesh > select by ID), then apply a MaterialByElement modifier (tick List Frequency and chose numbers of IDs you need + an extra ID)
2 - apply a Multi/Sub-Object Material to your object (with number of IDs corresponding to ones activated in the MaterialByElement modifier)
3 - link your existing CoronaMaterial(s) to the ID(s) dedicated
4 - make a perfectly invisible CoronaMaterial (black color in opacity slot or CoronaPortal)
5 - Assign this material to the corresponding extra ID
6 - Adjust the quantity of invisible leaves through the MaterialByElement modifier using %

It's a brutal way, but it can help for trees not that close ...

You're not alone Alexandre, we're having the same problem here because it's integral to Walls & Tiles. Super frustrating, would really wish there was an alternative to bercon.
Glad (well, not that much uhuh) to hear that from you.
Someone from the dev team can tell me/us if it's a BerconTile or a Corona Dailybuild problem ?

What Daily Build are you using? I'm using the very last one.
I just can't make the texture bump working, only the joint does work, even with your file.
