I happened the same to me, but I lost the disk image (I did different tests and the one with the problem was just in memory)

Having hte option to load alembic files as proxys can be great, it may expand Corona interoperability and lead to import big meshes, like liquid animations, directly to memory without the need of having it in the scene.

What do you mean, a web section in our page would suffice?

I can prepare a renderfarm section on our site, I didn't do it until now because we served just to known people, but we are opening ourselves to general public slowly and I had it planned, if you mean that I'll arrange it asap :)

Hi there.

Corona is rendering very well in our small farm.

We have around 12 nodes (I say around because sometimes we add a node or two, depending on the needs)

An example job could be one we did recentlly (Corona job of course), the average time per frame was 21 minutes 27seconds, in a single computer with that time per frame the total render time is 125,48 hours, in our renderfarm it was completed in approximately 13 hours (started at 4:08:40, ended at 17:03:20)
The render time per frame in a 2600k was aproximately 10 minutes.

So we are not rebus (we don't want to hahaha), but if someone needs some speedup in render, think in us, we will quote your job.

I'll add that Corona is leveragin the oldest nodes brilliantly, we have some Q6600, and they are performing astonishing well, more or less 30% of a 2600k, while with mental ray they were 23/25% of the 2600k, so Corona it's awesome even in older computers.

BTW we are beckburner based, it's working fine in it's latest releases :)

My AMD 1090t are performing well, there is no important differences between intel and amd computers here, the performance variation is teh same than with mental ray engine, more or less same ratio.

Let me ask another thing.

Why are you rendering frames based on time? This will give you different noise amount in every frames, you should be rendering based on passes to achieve an uniform noise result.

Is the white material completely white? It seems to be really bright and it could be the culprit for the white dots I think.

Max 2011 64bit Simplified Chinese
Windows system has been updated.
After installing the corona V6, MAX has an error report.
VC + +2013 has been updated, it seems that there is no effect.
I do not know what needs to install.

Try running this program: http://corona-renderer.com/stuff/AVX2check.exe - does it crash? Or does it say you are able to run corona?

3dsmax still show me the Error code -1073741795 ... also after all windows Updates .. iam exited to test and work with it ....

Did you tried the installing the visual c redistributable that I posted here?

It worked for me and i had to install 10 pc's this last weekend for the farm, corona was working with barely any updates.

Thanks for the instruction. DR servers are now installed.

I had tried using multi-texture map with DR and was getting discrepancies between local rendering vs DR.

Please see below attachments for your review.

A6_Multitexture Map_01: Floor Tile using multi texture map in Diffuse, Gloss, Reflection & Bump rendered locally

A6_Multitexture Map_02: Same floor tile rendered using DR

Is the floor texture available in the slave machines?

I think i remember seeing a similar behaviour when some of the slave machines could not access the texture.
