Gallery / La Ganea
« on: 2019-07-08, 17:11:30 »
Hi Everyone,

I recently done some practice work inspired by Studio_mabb's La_Ganea project.

Original project:-https://www.studiomabb.it/portfolio/la-ganea/

Studio Mabb has used a humble material palette of plaster, timber, and iron to complement the rustic interiors of this eatery in Brescia, Italy.
Located directly next to the Palazzo Martinengo art museum, La Ganea is housed inside a farmhouse that dates back to the 16th century.

I used most of PBR texture from the 3DT, Texture heaven, and Texture.com for practice on PBR technic.

For Highres images check our Behance page:-https://www.behance.net/mediasilverbell
Get in touch with us:-https://www.facebook.com/silverbell0118

Software used:- 3ds Max, Corona renderer, Photoshop

Hope you like it.
Thanks,

Hi

thanks for the tutorial

how did you manage to get such bright midtones (white walls) without any curves or lut applied in the end?

Thanks johjymrazko. I have used gamma 1.0 method in the last but it was not shown in the video because of two Monitor and recording was capturing only on one screen, and it was a mistake by me that I have made those setting on other screens which was not capturing.

I like lighting and photographic mood of the shots, but probably the background, it's a bit off, the perspective is not quite right also in the chair close up I can see the tile repetition.
Thanks MattCo for your comment. yes background is bit off I agree with you and next time I will keep it in mind but another thing its job for tutorial purpose only and it's done in only 2 hrs and my main focus was on the lighting and I was unable to give proper time for texturing and camera.

Wooooow .Very good work .Your render looks better then the reference image .I don't remember if corona 1.7 had the uvw randomizer  but that's a very cool tool for randomizing the  textures on the beams.Anyway amazing work.
Thank you very much razvanux. For UVW randomize i will keep it mind.

Really amazing lighting and tonemapping!

Can you share a bit more about the environment lighting setup? Looks super clean and almost studio lit. Are the interior spots also at 6500K?
Thank you agentdark45 for your appreciation. I used HDRI for environment light and spots with 6500k.

Cheers, which HDRI did you use and did you do any colour correction on it? Really loving the neutral clean look you've achieved here.

I used Pg skies and of course I did color correction. Thanks

These images are just perfect! I love how clean they're looking but also have so much details and little imperfection wich makes it nearly ipossible to tell that this is cgi. Also love the hair on the cotton. May I ask how long it took to build, texture and light this scenes?
Thanks for your appreciation. I take 3 to 4 day to complete the scene.
