It seems the corona image editor has limited formats you can save from it.

I often am saving a .cxr on the farm and tweaking the exposure for light painting purposes.

If I save a PNG it auto cuts the alpha. Can we have an option to save 16bit TIFF's with alpha?

I'm having some GI flicker issues on the ceiling in one of my shots. I can't seem to get rid of it.

The client has asked for this specific fix.

See video attached, see my setting attached.

I am currently getting more and more requests for animation.

I do a lot of close ups with focus pulls.

Does anyone know how I could preview a DOF change without rendering? Been racking my brain thinking about this.
The only way I can think is to do the DOF in post, but I find it doesn't look as good as straight out of the renderer.

The clients want to see the focus shift but rendering is expensive.

Any chance to get some fstorm conversion happening in the converter?

Basically, is it possible to animate the fstop? Not the best at animation but I can't seem to set a keyframe to do it.

Simply put, when you add intensity to a self-illumination in a material it turns white or bright in the viewport. I find it impossible to work with that on. And makes mapping a texture painful. Have to lower the intensity and then map and then turn it back on for rendering.

Anyone else agrees?

Maybe a check box for visibility in the viewport?

Corona is really crying out for a toolbar like vray.

Main feature buttons:

- Start interactive
- Open frame buffer
- Create corona camera / lights
- Corona scene/ mat converter

It would also be helpful to access these items via the quad menu if that was easier for some user.

There is a third party Corona toolbar our there but surely this wouldnt be a hard feature.

A most helpful addition.

I find I am using the vray camera to grab specific focus and then using that the corona cam mod. It would be better to have a corona camera stand alone.

Most important features:

- Specify focus distance and preview the focal plane in the camera gizmo. This is essential in nailing the DOF.
- Vertical and horizontal shift.

I would like to request a HDRI loader similar to vrays.

The main components are 360' angle rotation and ability to set the gamma from the mat editor instead of using max's override in the bitmap loader.

Also controlling the multiplier would be very helpful.
