Similar results is possible using falloff map with extreme setup, or with objects with flipped normals. I will try to show you an example today or tomorrow. :)

The wireframe shader (CoronaWire) is implemented since ages. Can you post an example of what you would like to achieve?

I am starting a forum thread instead of Mantis report because I think it is more convenient in this case, but just let me know if I should move to Mantis.

[based on helpdesk report]
scene: big lowpoly object with fine displacement, very high output resolution (let's say 5k x 5k)

Corona 1.1: the mesh needs to be subdivided manually, displacement is calculated based on screen size and max subdiv values - reasonable amount of ram is used in case of extreme subdivision as screen size is limited by max subdivs

Corona 1.2: no manual subdivision, excessive amount of ram is used as there is no max subdivs and Corona needs to do a lot of work to decide where the tiny subdivisions should be

Fix:
a) increase screen size at the cost of quality
b) enable filtering/blurring for the displacement map at the cost of some detail
c) leave all the settings as they are, but subdivide the mesh like in 1.1 to make it easier for Corona to decide how to subdivide the mesh (I think this is why it helps)

I think something like automatic "pre-subdivision" of lowpoly (low mesh density?) objects could help here.

In attachment is an example: 1 - lowpoly object, 2 - same object with subdivide modifier

Sorry for coming back with this one. IR has some serious issues where it will interfere with any action, for example moving an object. I can't move it for any longer than two seconds, after that IR will kick in and restart rendering (after a short lag), and sometimes even revert the last action.
Everything is laggy, UI is flashing... I am 100% certain something is broken here.
I never experienced this. This is strange how some users have serious issues, and some don't experience them at all.

I think this is known. :(

We need more details. What are you trying to achieve? Can you post examples?

This looks like some of the pixels did not get updated yet, in such case it should go away after some time. If it's something different, please see this article:

If you can't find a working solution there, please submit a support ticket here:

What would be the most desired behavior?

I would say this:
Quote
Vray - keeps bump orientation correct with symmetry modifier, but when you intentionally flip faces using normal modifier, bump flips as well.
Because it happens anyway, right? If you create a plane, it will have inverted bump on one side.

OR, if it's possible, all objects could have the same ("positive") bump applied to both sides. I can't imagine a situation where one would want to have a flipped bump on one side for some reason. On the other hand, transparent/refractive objects... My brain hurts. :)

Hi, have you seen our helpdesk DR article?
https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000501666

Also, this:
https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php/topic,8543.0.html

If you already tried some of the suggested solutions, please submit a support ticket and describe your problem in detail:
https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new

my suggestions:
-have you tried interactive rendering? :)
-lower GIvsAA
-lower LSM (preferably not below 1)
-disable UHD cache for secondary solver, use PT instead, quality will be worse in the same given time, but it should render faster, as it is just preview
-disable displacement/any unneeded effects (the displacement switch from common render settings tab works with Corona)
-simplify the scene

It is possible that all the people in these images are. Just take a closer look.

Can Corona scatter a jungle? - Yes it can! ;)

Did you use CoronaMultiMap for the trees? If not, I would recommend it. It would introduce more variation to the leaf colors. We are planning to create a tutorial on multimap, so hopefully it will be online soon.

replacing corona light mtl geometry with regular corona light - after 3 minutes you can see noticable less noise with corona light - is this a bug?

This would be a bug unless you are using light mtl on geometry that is totally different than the Corona light object. I would also suspect reflective caustics in this case. You would be able to reduce them by decreasing MSI value or using rayswitch material on reflective objects (like the floor). Could you post _direct and _indirect passes?

Awesome design! Is this your idea? I just think the car doesn't fit the overall atmosphere.
