So, beanz has the font installed, it's Oswald. For some reason, C4D is displaying in its viewport a font that is not installed on my machine, when really it should a) generate an error or b) at least update the viewport to show whatever font it has picked as a replacement. My guess is that the font isn't installed on your machine either :) C4D really shouldn't show the font like that, since it doesn't exist.

What font should that text be?

When I load the scene, the Text object shows it is Segoe UI, which is what Corona is rendering. However, it is NOT what is appearing in the C4D viewport. If I change the font in the text object to another font then back to Segoe UI, the C4D viewport updates and now matches the Corona render (that is, the C4D viewport now has the text intersecting the objects at the side).

So seems like the C4D viewport is showing some other font when the scene is first loaded. Let us know what the font you have set in the Text object.

Not yet, mostly because it isn't feature-complete yet, so recording anything now would just need throwing out and replacing soon :) It should all be pretty intuitive and self-explanatory though!

The first part (at 1m 40s) is just Max's ME not updating while IR is running. I think that's a Max limitation thing (as the renderer is already rendering, in IR, so can't re-render in the ME, is my thoughts on it - developers would need to say more)

This one would be a core thing, not a C4D thing - the option doesn't exist in Max either. The solution at the moment though is to create a Beauty (a virtual Beauty I should say) pass with different levels of denoising, and then using masks (from Corona, or created manually) to mask out objects or areas that need more or less denoising.

A quick look in the CIE doesn't show any discontinuities in the data there, it all seems to change smoothly as expected. May want to check RSMB's help pages too, and engage their support or community in taking a look at the EXR. Also, check out their help pages at https://revisionfx.com/faq/motion_vector/ (perhaps there's something up with alpha for instance, as RSMB uses that to decide whether there is "no object" there to blur; or the setting of the Max Displacement value in RSMB). As far as I can tell, everything from Corona is as expected... but whether it's "as RSMB needs" is a different question :)
