when in pre 12.2 it was possible to use Volume effect with any HDRi freely.
What if volume effect is not wanted for the HDRI?

It was no problem to set it to zero value then. So we use this "bug" in all our scenes to enhance aerial perspective and all scenes now unusable in C13. It's unfortunate. No way to use it as "legacy" mode?

Map 0 is wired to CoronaLight target custom properties. This was no problem in Corona 12.2. The main problem is that Volume effect have no effect other than with CoronaSky active, when in pre 12.2 it was possible to use Volume effect with any HDRi freely.

In attacheв file you can find newly created CoronaSelect map with the same problem.

There is a big problem with Volume Effect in CoronaSky in Corona 13 (in Corona 12.1 it is ok). In Corona 11 we can turn on Volume Effect and use it with every environment map but in Corona 13 we can't do it. It is a big problem to migrate all previous scenes to Corona 13 because of this. Is there any way to turn this behavior on in Corona 13?

I've attached scene with this problem. If this scene opened in Corona 11 it will have Volume effect renderable, but in Corona 13 it is not renderable.

As a workaround, (perhaps) you can use a Corona Physical Material with self illumination.

Already done this, thanks. Please inform, if it will be solved.

From version 12 there are no way to use CoronaLightMaterial with CoronaPattern. Emit light option unsupported, as manual says, and leads to black appearance, that's ok (not). But if this checkbox is unchecked it crashes 3ds max at sec GI stage in Corona 12 and above.

It may be useful to know that switching off adaptivity (three adaptivшен switches) removes this issue too.

No matter what size of image rendering it using only fraction of CPU power. Here is another example of this behavior.

No need to do this longer by x-times. It will be much better to run it for 1 or 2 minutes like in vray benchmark. This way it will be good for everyone.

Every pass CPU going to 0% usage and this leads to overall usage nearly 50% of CPU power. I investigate that with adaptivity off this gaps going to shrink a bit but always there.
Is there any ways to avoid this behavior?

have you tried tyflow preview ?

Nope. Only first frame it is in full mesh preview mode and box preview mode in any of following frames. Looks like max had no time to load proxy before next frame.

Is there anyone who knows how to make viewport preview with animated proxies?
