Hi, as usual, we should be able to find out what exactly is causing the freezes/crashes by analyzing a minidump file. You can capture it from a crash or freeze, even if the Autodesk error reporting window is not displayed.

I think it will be wrong. You can easily test that by using a "debug" kind of normal map. Please see here. The sphere normal map is available for download:

Disable the 3ds Max exposure controls. They are unsupported. Instead, use the exposure (and other operators) in the Corona VFB > Post tab.

You either don't block the light (and then the lighting in the room changes) or you do block it (and then the lighting in the room doesn't change, but walls become black inside).
You can try using a material with self-illumination enabled as the slicer cap material.

Yes, using a file with TX textures only.

This is now reported to our devs as (Report ID=CMAX-1295).

See the point "7. Corona Slicer Material with "Cap sliced geometry" option enabled, "Override cap material" option disabled, and used with Corona Ray Switcher Material"
There is a material editor screenshot there explaining how to set it up.

As to the white lines: it could be the environment "leaking" through thin geometry. The solution would be to add thickness to the floor object (e.g. shell modifier) or add another layer of plane or box under the floor.
