Gallery / My daily renders
« on: 2019-10-02, 09:52:11 »
Hi guys, because currently i do not have payed project I decided to spend the whole week by doing dailys. The task is simple - i am doing one render based on the photograph or redner made by someone. As the first render i would like to show my cgi recreation of the Ryan House by Arthouse Architects and photograph taken by Sarah Rowlands Photography.

As the main aplication I'm using Blender, textures mostly from poliigon and Megascans.

Take care:)

Chaos Corona for Blender / missing texture
« on: 2019-04-18, 08:25:31 »
Is it possible to write some line to exporter, that missing texture will be rendered as a pink missing texture like the cycles do? Or should that be made by the developers of Corona by them inside the standalone? It's really annoying that if  some texture is missing Corona stops without saying anything what went wrong.

Hi guys I would like to show you my latest noncommercial project made in Blender and rendered using Corona Standalone 3.0

First of all I createt this project to check how my photoscanned trees are working in such of scene.

I need to mention creators of free models that I've used in this project:

Cytnhia (photoscaned model by Godrobot) - https://sketchfab.com/models/34e66acba3344731a2772311797429d6

Work in Progress/Tests / House in the forest
« on: 2018-12-20, 14:59:56 »
Hi guys, I need some help with my non-commercial project. I'm a little bit tired of trying to achieve photorealistics results. Tried eveything and nothing can satisfied me . I'm not sure how people can achieve so amazed results.

About the project. It is using photoscanned assets (my own) blended with Speedtree. Painted dirt maps on car or bike. As a main application I use Blender ( modelling, texturing, painting, sculpting, scattering etc).

For example one tree has got something about 2mln polygons (photoscanned part ~40k after retopology) One render take something about 16h (i7-6800k, 64GB ram) to render, and in my opinion it is not worth it.

Maybe somone can help me and tell what makes it unphotorealistic?

Two first renders was rendered using Sky+sun
Third was rendered using PG sky

Hi guys,

Today when I started to render one scene I saw that Corona Standalone gets lags while rendering. It still renders but I cannot use the corona frame buffer in real time. It didn't happened before so I'm courious what can bring this issue to me. Friday I had a bleuscreen while using VR in ue4. Can it be conected?

Corona use as always almost 98% of processor. I've got 64gb ram and it's only 40% is used while rendering

I was using Corona 3.0 from August, update to 20-september version didn't help

Gallery / House in the woods (Blender + Corona)
« on: 2017-06-20, 10:05:55 »
Hi guys!

I was working with an exterior scene where I used hair participle in Blender to locate plants, stone, trees etc. It works really good. I used textures from Poliigon.com. I had some problems with adding dirt to concrete walls in Corona for Blender, but I solved it in Blender - Cycles by baking the whole house texture.

Let me know what do you think about it:)

High res photos are on behance: https://www.behance.net/gallery/53977997/House-in-the-woods feel free to leave some feedback there:)

Software used:
Blender 2.78c
Corona Standalon 1.6

Off-Topic / External disk- rendering on many computers
« on: 2017-06-19, 23:01:36 »
Hi guys,

I'm working on Blender and exporter to Corona - it's still demo version, and when it will be paind I almost sure that I'm going to continue using it. Anyway, Currently I'm working on a scene where one image takes whole night to render. I would like to speed it up and use my Laptop to render another image- the problem is that I every time i have to change textures localizations and copy them to the laptop - it takes time.

Currently I'm using external disk connected to the router and mapped as a network disk - It works well but it's so slowly. I'm wonder If I'm going to change my router with usb 3.0 is it going to speed up the rendering process (Project and textures are on mapped disk). What do you think?

I'm working now with scene surrounded by many participle objects and I'm wondering of do you have in plans to add distributed rendering to blender exporter?

BTW Great render engine. I've never was so close to achive what I really want to achive:)

I would like to present you with free 3d models that we made for a new scene in Unreal Engine. On our website we share a blend file which contains a set of 50 books. It’s free to use for commercial and private projects. First 20 books were edited by interpreter. The rest will be shortly updated.

Something about the night scene. We used some free objects that we share at our page (headphones and books) and a window that we shared some time ago at Blendswap.
We used textures from Poliigon (floor and brick wall) and rendered everything using Corona renderer. Making covers took us something about one day of work, and every cover is unique.

Because we just started with our own company, we hope that you can appreciate our work by following us on our FB fanpage, Artstation and Behance. Thanks! Comments and suggestions are much appreciated.
