Hey guys!
I'm sharing with you my latest personal project, a super quick one. I animated these beauty shots in cinema4d and rendered with Corona of course.
Render times were about 1 minutes per frame for most of the clips on a i9 13900k.

Free model available on grabcad if you wanna play with it 😁

[C4D] I need help! / Chaos unified login is not running

Hey guys,

in the last days I've been experiencing a nasty issue with this pop up window (attached) almost every time I open c4d. Despite the fact that I login via browser nothing changes. To fix this I run the app "stop chaos unified login" and then the "start chaos unified login" that usually fixes the problem, but not always.
It is very frustrating, how can I fix this thing permanently?

I'm sharing some renders I did using a Ducati Desmosedici RR base model that I "enhanced" a bit by adding aerodynamic parts.
Everything was modeled, textured and rendered using c4d+corona.

Hi guys!
I'm working on an odd task, rendering a golf ball inside a glass sphere. It's an image that is going to be used in a UI design.
I'm attaching an image (1) that is an AI generated reference done by the client.
At the beginning I wasn't getting nice results since a "solid" sphere would distort the contained objects. I tried then the thin film option in the material and I even tried to give thickness to the sphere, but the output is really bad (you can see the attached images 2).
SOmething I'm aiming to is the attached image 3 I guess.

I think the big issue here is represented by the lighting that must be studio and pretty clear and neat since the render is going to be featured in a UI system

Hi guys!
I've updated c4d to 2025 few days ago and installed the Corona 13 daily that supports it.
Renders in the vfb and interactive (both viewport and window) are working fine. Unluckily if I render the viewport colours are different, looks like the gamma is wrong.
I think this could be a color space problem, but I checked the linear space and everything should be ok

Hey guys,

So I'm having an issue with a bump texture that is rendered correctly when it's in the triplanar slot. When I put it in the bump channel without triplanar it's not rendered in a correct way.
I tried to put the texture inside a Corona bitmap but it doesn't change anything.
I'm attaching an image where you can see the correct behaviour at the top of the curtain.
I'm attaching the scene aswell.

Looks like my latest project is giving me all the issues I've never had in 6+ years using Corona lol

Hey guys!

I would like to use the "render select" option with some specific objects inside a cloner. Unluckily this thing is not working. I tried with both "include list" and "object ID" but doesn't work.
I know I could make the cloner editable but it is animated and more complex than the you one you are looking at in the attachments, animation won't work anymore (unless I make a super heavy alembic).

Any workaround for this thing?

[C4D] I need help! / Multi shader with refractive materials?

Hey guys!
I need to setup a multishader to get some gems both green and transparent (like diamond and emerald).
As you can see I have a mograph rig that is making the gems move along the spline.
I can't change the rig setup at the moment so I have to deal with that.

Is it possible to have refractive materials in the multishader?

[C4D] I need help! / Alpha is cutting bloom/glare

Hi guys!
I have a problem when I try to composite bloom/glare pass in After Effects.
Basically the bloom/glare is not going over areas where there are transparencies, and this is a huge problem.
In the attachment you will se the VFB image that is the correct version. Then you will see the COMP image, done in after effects, that is completely missing the glare (because opacity cuts it).

The background is a stock video of course.

I'm rendering an exr file with all the compositing layers (virtual beauty, bloom/glare).
I still haven't figured out a method to comp this thing properly...

Hey everyone!
I would like to share with you guys my latest personal project, I've started it couple of months ago but I was able to complete it just now...
I started with a base model by Squir, modeled some parts from scratch and added various details. I built all the materials and lights in c4d and Corona of course. The livery is done just using Corona decals.

Hi guys!

I noticed a problem today, I'm getting slightly different results between interactive render and final render. I thought the problem was Corona 11 so I rolled back to 10, but the problem is still there.
I'm having this issue with every scene.

Hey guys!
I was wondering if is there any chance to get an option to draw a custom render region, free hand or using something like the polygonal lazo in Photoshop.
In attached screenshot for example, I should need only the dark green area to be render.

Yes, I know there's the include list, sometime tho would be better to have the "polygonal region"

Hi guys,

I've been struggling for a while to find good parameters to setup global volume effect using volume material inside "Scene environment".
I can't achieve that nice "hazy" effect around light sources, and I struggle aswell to get nice volumes from light emitters (I usually use small circular emitters with a directionality that ranges from 35% to 50%, high intensity that is often >1500).
Any suggestion on parameters/colors to use in the shader?

I'm attaching here a test I did and values used, as you can see the light bar (corona light material applied) has no hazy stuff around it.
