I am sorry, but I do not understand what is happening in your video. It looks like you are clicking various icons (Cosmos, Render Setup), but nothing is happening, the windows are not displaying. Is this the problem you wanted to show?

If yes, then please submit a new support ticket at https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
This is because cases where Cosmos is not working at all are handled by the dedicated Cosmos support team.

Oh my god I tried to save some time and I used the stupid Alt+Windows+R record function but it only records one window. My apologies. I will upload the proper screen record soon

Hello, thank you for your reply. The problem might require further investigation as I am reporting this after someone brought it to my attention.
Furthermore, that person is in Mexico, I am in Poland, and we both use 3ds Max 2024 and 2025 with all updates applied.

We both experience this issue in 2025

I have noticed that Chaos Cosmos works differently in 3ds Max 2024 and 2025.

For example Wood 11 100cm, the two images I have attached show difference

1. 3ds Max 2024 - Chaos Cosmos, Corona 12.1
2. 3ds Max 2025 - Chaos Cosmos, Corona 12.1

Due to this difference its impossible to use Corona Converter on that material and all you get is

SYSTEM: Production renderer is changed to Corona 12 (Hotfix 1). Previous messages are cleared.

Hello!
I just played a bit with CornaTile and I have a few things to mention that I believe some adjustment/fixing

1. When adding a gap distortion map, it will only react to the original mapping of the CoronaTileMap and, for some reason, ignore mapping channels.
So you can't add an independent distortion map to your grout.

2. Corner Radius should also have a "Chamfer" option to create sharp cuts \ / I think a curve would be best here.
- If the Chamfer is big enough it would be neat to introduce a third color with the ability to add the rhombus tile.

It has the near and far distance parameters, which would handle that - so I am thinking you mean having one or both of those as node inputs to allow them to be mapped? As the other maps have those as inputs you can connect things to?

Here's simple example. We want to be able to achieve the same result with edge map as we can with Corona distance.

That is exactly what I tried to say, thank you.

Not sure what this means, can you explain in more detail? The Edge map itself is just meant to generate the gradient, what you do with that gradient (add it to opacity, use it to blend between materials, use it to change the Diffuse color, etc.) is then up to you.

So I call it Opacity, but that is the radius, distance max, AO distance, distance etc.

Hello I have a few questions about some of the maps added in Corona 11 and general questions that bother me for a while.

CoronaEdgeMap how does it really work? I can see that it's some mix curve and wire map.
But why does this map lack some opacity options like most similar maps?

Is there any plan to add consistency in the naming of the effect I'm asking about?

CoronaRound edges has Radius
CoronaAO has AO Distance
CoronaCurve has MaxDistance
CoronaDistnance has a Distance Scale

Thank you for the quick reply Maru, the problem is related to people's Corona Trial as sometimes the newer version of Chaos Licencing Server does not recognize the trial license.

The solution I found was to uninstall the CLS 6.0.1 in order to install an older version of it I think I chose 5.5.2 and It worked flawlessly.

I'm not currently putting in a ticket unless you need it for some stats.

You can already achieve it with the CoronaLayered material and CoronaMultiMap set to black and white, and a little bit of setup.
