Work in Progress/Tests / Second Test MayatoCorona
« on: 2015-07-03, 10:58:12 »
Trying to push Corona on Maya a little bit further.
I'm testing some simplified shaders workflow I use with mental ray, not bad at all.
A great things to have could be something like :
AO_shader
Mib_color_Mix
Layered Shader
curvature shader

A really big thank to Haggi for the great work, please support him to bring us a final version of Corona for Maya as soon as possible.
We really need it!

[Archive] Chaos Corona for Maya / Bump nodes cascade
« on: 2015-06-03, 16:12:05 »
Hi,
i try a bump cascade (it works with mental ray) connecting two bump nodes (bump mode) with different image nodes in standard way (bump2d1.OutNormal -> bump2d2.NormalCamera) but it doesn't work, it read only the first connected.
Is there any chance to use multiple bump maps (multiple rgb maps or normal and rgb mix) ?

Work in Progress/Tests / First complete test
« on: 2015-05-21, 15:01:53 »
Hi,
this is my first simple test scene completed.
I'm really impressed by the performance and lighting efficiency of Corona
The materials are very simple, in this scene i've tested only bump and some ramps
DOF is from the camera, totally computed by corona.
A little color correction in PS with lighting/contrast/saturation/ adjustment
With this scene it crashes very rarely, i think Maya do the wrong thing in the wrong time. As always :)

PS.
Haggi, a very useful shader (imho) would be a Curvature Shader like this for MR http://www.tomcowland.com/mentalray/tc_curvature/
