CoronaLight - Spherical = Super Noisy Lights

Been doing some testing here on a typical tower building with perhaps 100 spherical coronalights. Results cause all the other scene lights (also corona lights but all rect/disc) to be super noisy.

As soon as I swap these for standard max omni lights with corona soft shadows the problem disappears. No more noise issues anywhere.

Is this a known issue?
