Hi guys

If you want some more insight on how a  2x E5-2670 render node build could look like and how it performs, I've posted my build over at cgarchitect:
http://forums.cgarchitect.com/80150-cheap-16core-xeon-node-pros-cons.html thread is running 5pages long atm, but I'm really happy with it. Images, performance, temps and thoughts regarding the build is all there.

Feel free to ask any questions and I'll try my best to answer - I'm no Juraj on tech stuff though!

Found your thread on CGArchitect some time ago, but missed one very important aspect, what's the price of the whole node when completed? As I'm currently in a crossroad of building it on my own or just grabbing a refurbished HP z620 with the same specs.

Got them :- )

So neat.

My build is (not too cheap but I already have tons of this HW lying around....):

Fractal Xl Arc (Couldn't find Define XL R2 at good price or even at all in black around, duh), so let's try something new after 4 years and 6 of these cases :- D
Asus Z9PE-D8 WS
32GB non-ECC (hence why the Z9PE) 1600Mhz I think it's Kingston, don't remember, it's currently in unused node.
250GB Samsung Evo (don't remember which one, same as above, somewhere in my storage...)
EVGA 750 GQ Power Supply
Some 20 euro trash GPU, got full stack of these :- D

Really giddy, don't know what to expect. Should be fun.

I have question?
I want to build 2xe5-2670 v1 c2 workstation. I ordered 2 used facebook xeons from http://www.aliexpress.com/item/For-Intel-Xeon-Processor-E5-2670-20M-Cache-2-60-GHz-8-00-GT-s-IntelQPI/32639214264.html 115€ with discount.
I ordered 64GB ECC from http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Origina-8GB-2Rx4-PC3-PC3-10600R-DDR3-1333MHz-ECC-REG-Registed-server-memory-NO-PC-by/32413365648.html?spm=2114.13010308.0.48.y7rrYU for 100€.
I found new motherboard with 2 years garanty http://www.list.rs/proizvod/maticne-ploce/maticna-ploca-intel-s2600coeioc-plo01963/?category=26 for 220€.
I have 2 kinston ssd, a 6x 1TB hards, Chieftec 750w which I will use with 2 molex to 8 pin adapter.
Is this worth to build or not(more than 400€!!!!)?
One my friend will give me money I spend if I decided not to build for components.
Would two cm 212 be enough?

Great machine Juraj_Talcik! I want build something like this but I'll get memory next week and I still dont have case. I visited a few shops today and I only find something like this http://www.thermaltake.com/Chassis/Mid_Tower_/Suppressor/C_00002676/F51_No_Window/design.htm. Also don't know what graphic to get. I have one amd hd6870 just for test but I want to find cheap nvidia 980 for this comp because I want this to be fine gaming rig(ok I know that this isnt good like i7 4790 but it is cheaper) .

Honestly there are not that many cheap (aftermarket) Full/Mid towers that take E-ATX on market. Let's select 60-140 euro range. The cheaper for pure nodes, the mid for silent nodes, the upper range make best for workstations since they combine best airflow (if you also put GPUs) while maintaining good acoustics for something that will be under your table.

Big/Full towers:
Fractal Define XL R2 - 130-140 euro The single most high-end of this bunch. But unnecessary for this node and price level.
Fractal Arc XL    - 100 euro (mine above) Worse acoustics than Define, but better cooling support (large radiators possible to mount above for vertical push/pull). Much cheaper and imho looks really good as well.
NZXT H630 - 120-140 euro - Very similar to Define XL R2 in terms of acoustics, with water cooling support like Arc series instead. But worse technical quality, looks cheaper than any Fractal.
NZXT Phantom 530 - Uff...for ultra hardcore space nerds with impaired aesthetical taste.
Zalman H1-  +/- 140 euro supports best air cooling if you plan on having 2 gpus and 8 HDDs, which no one here does. Not as ugly as NZXT creations but still weird...

(I did not put Corsair 750D, Silverstone Temjin/Raven, because they already top 160+ euro and are truly unnecessary for any builds not featuring massive custom water loop)

Mid towers that support E-ATX:
Chieftec CF SH-03B - 75 euro.  Looks ridiculously trashy... Stay away.
Fractal Core 330 -   60 euro. Cheap, poor acoustics, but doesn't look like trash (inside/outside is OK)
Fractal Core 350 -   85 euro. Better
Thermaltake Suppressor C you link (copy of Define but worse) - +/- 130 euro, Fractal copy, but worse.
Corsair Carbide 400 Q/C - 85 Euro. Look good, good acoustics.
Corsair Carbide 330R - 95 euro . Like above, but better acoustics and cooling.
Corsair 450D Obsidian series - +/- 110-120 euro. Golden evergreen, really good case for those who like Corsair more than Fractal :- ) Good support for water cooling, but worse acoustics.
NZXT Source 330 - 100 +/- euro I don't know anything about this one.

I wanted to say that this cheap dual 2670 computer was cheaper (new mobo+cpu+ram) then second hand 4790+mobo+ram for me. I know that i7 4790 is much better but I could not find 4790+mobo+ram under 540€ here. So  I have to pay extra for case (new atx case is 10€ here but eatx....). Thermaltake is 140€ in shop I visited.

I payed 100€ less than 4790 and now I have to pay 140€ for case.... :(
Can you give me advice about next parts :
http://www.jakovsistem.com/kontroleri/lycom-ub-120ti-pcie-x1-4-x-usb-3-0-host-adapter about 29€
http://gigatronshop.com/zvucne_kartice/asus_xonar_dgx-31411 44€
You probably understand why I ask. So you see now that it seems that I didn't buy so cheap but new board (no audio no usb 3.0).

There have been no Fractal and LianLi distributors and product here for last 3 years here, why I don't know. Shipping for case from abroad is too high, so I have to deal with brands I could find in my country. I spent last few hours visiting computer stores looking for eatx, 7 stores a ton of ugly cases for kids but no eatx...... Weather here is so bad, hot and moistened ....huh...

Look online at builds using the same motherboard. The Z9PE-D8 WS actually fits a Fractal Define R4 just barely. So there should be other cases that will house it just fine.

Still no case. I was in server room of my firm to find case from unused old servers. There are so many different cases, HP, Dell, Proliant, old Riscs..... but all cases are specific, with no back plate, holes are made in cases........
