Ok. it works.... the procedure below

1 - when max crashes at startup because of "corona DLR issue"
2 - go to C:\Users\xxxxx\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\2014 - 64bit\ENU\en-US\plugcfg\corona and delete corona folder (you might make a copy of the folder first just in case).
or
3 - go to C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\2014 - 64bit\ENU and rename ENU folder to ENUOld, it works as well.
