i would like to know if you reduced the intensity of the sun(to something like 0.05) to work with the hdri or you just played with the exposure controls to give the desired results....either way, which would be the most realistic approach? and would it work the same in exterior scenes as well?
How many passes you usually render at? Also, which resolution?

Some of the are so hit and miss with producing good results!
I dont remember exactly but i think it was modified 1658 (PG).
