Hello,

I am experiencing stability issues with Corona 13 and Corona 13 Hotfix 1.

Since installing Corona 13, I have noticed that while rendering works fine most of the time, Corona occasionally freezes when a pop-up window appears — typically during denoising or when saving an image.

I initially suspected that the issue might be caused by too many background programs or outdated GPU drivers. To address this, I uninstalled unnecessary background applications and updated my GPU drivers (NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti). Unfortunately, the problem persists.

I have never experienced this issue with previous versions of Corona.

The problem is urgent because even though renderer is finishing denoising I can't save it. Only way is killing all the process and restarting Cinema. All rendering time is wasted and no certainty next time it let me save.

My setup:

Cinema 4D R21

Windows 11

AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3970X

Could you please advise on how to resolve this issue?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best regards,

Sorry to hear about the problem. Some extra info would be very useful, or even critical, to diagnose what is happening - Which denoiser are you using? Does this only happen with a lot of passes (this can raise ram/vram requirements if each pass is being denoised)? Since it is a freeze, can you submit a minidump, see the second section of https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/articles/4648898278545-How-to-report-issues-C4D on how to do this during a freeze. Is it definitely frozen and not just taking a very long time?
