Wondering why this huge difference. I always thought Mac was more efficient in terms of software.

blame apples xcode.
no osx is not more efficient.(more a pain)

I was on OSX for most of my life, then switched to Windows, never looked back! More stable, faster, custom. Feel like a prat sticking with Apple for so long...........

I believe the corona install files has the packages for the past osx version all in one file, they could separate for each osx version and the user download the one they need.

So it might be that for the current OSX the download would be much less.
