Hello everyone, can someone give me a hand?
I’m trying to render particles with Corona — I made a clone of simple spheres and attached the particles group to the cloner object, but when I render, nothing shows up. Am I doing something wrong?

thanks in advanced

Hey there,

first thing that comes to my mind would be setting the clones to simple instances. Not render- or multiinstances.
I hand trouble with that in the past.

Corona currently doesn't support the rendering of particles directly. What you'll need to do is convert the particles to some form of instanced meshes which, if I'm not mistaken, is what most particle systems allow you to do. Yes, it is not as efficient as rendering particles directly but it does work and is, imho, a solid workaround.

If you'd like to request particle support in Corona then voting for it over on the ideas portal would probably be the way to go - https://chaoscorona.ideas.aha.io/ideas .
