Hello,

I feel like this is a dumb question but can someone explain to me:
how i can save a customized Corona physical material eg. a nice glass texture
so that I can just reload it into another seperate Project of mine without copy/pasting it directly from one project to the other?
Can I export materials into a file and load it into my new Project?
Can I save all my custom materials in C4D?

Thank you in advance :)

Hello there
Absolutely not a dumb idea. I'd say it's an interesting idea instead.
Currently, this is not possible.
You can use the method you already described.
There are some users that use the built-in Assets browser in Cinema 4D; however, please consider this is a tool designed to work nice and smooth with the built-in render engines in Cinema 4D (Standard, Physical, and Redshift engines)
Could you please log your feature request on our Ideas Portal: https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/articles/27701668531729-How-to-request-a-new-feature
You will need to pick "Add a new idea" and describe your feature request in detail.
Kind regards.
