How can you achieve the light effect as in attached image?
I created an ellipse with glass material, shelled the geometry and placed a rectangle light at the bottom of the case  pointing towards the wall but I cant seem to achieve the same result?
Tried dispersion, caustics, IES etc.. but that same glow on the wall is what I am trying to achieve.
Any suggestions are most welcome.

Regards,

Arnd

Enabling caustics for the glass object and enabling the Caustics Solver in Render Setup > Performance should give you similar results, provided that the glass object and the light source are modeled as closely as possible to the reference photo.

If I remember correctly, caustics may not render if a light source is placed inside a glass object. The solution might be moving the light source slightly outside of the glass object.
