I am writing to report an issue with the Interactive Scene feature in 3ds Max. I have a valid student license for both 3ds Max and Corona, but I am unable to launch the Interactive Scene mode. Each time I try to start the Interactive Scene, the program displays an error (I have attached a screenshot) and immediately crashes. The Interactive Scene does not start at all.

I have already tried optimizing the scene, but even when using proxies, the issue persists, and another error appears. Additionally, I am experiencing problems with the Chaos library. When I attempt to import objects from the Chaos library into the scene, the program crashes as well.

I have already tried uninstalling and manually reinstalling the software, but this did not resolve the issue. The problem persists.

My computer is a Predator Helios 300, so I believe that hardware performance should not be a problem in this case.

This image shows a maxscript error. Please follow this guide to fix it: https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/articles/4528127520017-I-am-getting-MAXScript-Auto-load-Script-Error

This image shows that Fault Tolerant Heap was enabled for 3ds Max due to frequent crashes. Please disable it: https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/articles/4528347128593--Fault-Tolerant-Heap-errors-and-solutions-3ds-Max

This image is showing that you are not using all your CPU cores. I am guessing that you tried this to see if it helps with the crashes?

My questions:
1. Does it happen ONLY in a specific scene or in any scene you try to render, even an empty scenes or a scene with just a single teapot?
2. Do you have V-Ray installed? Some of our users are reporting crashes when there are V-Ray assets in the scene, but V-Ray is not installed. You can try simply installing V-Ray. You don't have to own a license or even activate it, just install it and see if it helps.

The tutorial with MaxScript didn't work. It happens when I want to convert something to a proxy, and this error pops up.

I already removed the fault.

As for the processor cores, I'm not really sure how to do that. I have 16 GB of RAM.

Answers to the questions:

Yes, this happens in scenes when there's a model downloaded from 3dsky, but not always, so I don't have control over what I can import and what I can't, and I download everything to ensure it has a Corona render. It also happens sometimes with FloorGenerator. When the error appears, the entire file shuts down, and if, for example, the file was saved before the error with that 3D model, and I want to delete it afterward because I know that before I inserted that object, the interactive scene was working, and I delete that model, but then when I try the interactive scene again, there's another error, as if the file is no longer usable, and I can't do anything.

And where can I download V-Ray because on the Chaos website, it's only available for download if you have a license?

What is your RAM usage when you are working with your scenes and rendering? Are you getting "system is running low on memory" warnings? 64 GB of RAM is the safe minimum.
