@anyone with the slowdown/freezing/stuttering problem:

Please try this Windows Update:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/march-27-2025-kb5053656-os-build-26100-3624-preview-4c35f1c4-1ae6-41ef-a317-3d8ee2e73975
You should be able to download it by scrolling to the bottom of the page and clicking "Check for optional updates".

Be sure to enable "get the latest updates as soon as they're available" in Windows Update settings.

I will add to my message once again, the latest Windows update that appeared today seems to solve the problem. Since, even with the XMP profile enabled, there are no glitches.

Yup - the latest windows update Maru posted above seems to solve everything!  Ive been testing for an hour now in different scenes and both interactive and normal rendering works great!

Is this the official solution for this from Microsoft? I ran into this after I updated to 24H2. I was lucky enough to be able to downgrade back to 23H2, which was great since I was about to deliver a job and working under 24H2 was like stepping back a decade as far as speed on my system went.

I am on a 79540x, and it still plagued me the same way people on the 9950x have been suffering with it.

This solution was recommended by AMD since that Windows Update contains a specific fix which they assumed would help in the issue we described. According to multiple users, it did solve the issue for them.

That is great to hear. I am wary to try this, but if others are having success, I might update.
