Hello everyone,

We are experiencing a problem with the "Team Renderer" in Cinema 4D 2023.2.2 and Corona 11 Hotfix2. There's an error with the SSS material during team rendering the colors of all liquids (including SSS) are changing. Without the Team Renderer, the results are error-free. We would greatly appreciate any help!

Thank you!

Hi, in urgent cases, please always contact us through our official support portal: https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Based on some previous user reports, I was able to find this solution. Unfortunately, I can't guarantee that it will help in your case:

Please double-check the following:
-Make sure the "Use Cinema 4D color space" checkbox is enabled; you can find this setting right in the C4D preferences window. (see reference image)
-When using Team Render, make sure the "default Frame Buffer" option is set to "Cinema 4D" instead of "Corona VFB"
-Lastly, make sure the Lightmix settings are the same in both scenarios. I mean, when using TeamRender, some of the Lightmix settings are not automatically updated; I'd suggest the following steps to double-check this:
***Once your render is completed using the Team Render + your main computer, if you're using the Corona VFB, please make sure to go to the Lightmix tab, then disable and enable again any of the Lightmix passes (checkboxes); if the values just reset, then make sure to use the same Lightmix values you were using when rendering your image using a single computer.

If the above doesn't help, please do submit a support ticket and our team will assist you ASAP.

Hello @postroom
Did you manage to solve the issue?

Please consider the following:
When using Team Render + UHD Cache, it is recommended to first save the UHD Cache solution to a file, then loading it. This way, all rendering nodes will use the same solution instead of calculating different solutions, which may lead to different results per rendering node.
I hope this helps.
Please keep us posted.
Have an amazing day/evening.
