Hi everyone,

I´m thinking of converting my VIZPARK Interior Plants library (http://www.vizpark.com/shop/interior-plants/) to Corona Renderer.

Would anyone be interested in this or is a dedicated Corona Renderer version unnecessary ?

Best regards,
Martin

You can convert them using the script, but you cant upload them here.

I think he is the owner of this package ;)
So you're very welcome to upload it here :D

Just to clarify, I´m not offering to upload the library here for free of course. I just want to find out how much interest there is for such a version.
I´m considering to release an update of the product with Corona Renderer prepared scenes and materials, ready to use. Of course there
is the script, which I am also using, but that script won´t translate properly all materials, so more hand-word is needed to get good results.

I´m just asking myself if this effort is worth it.

So, the more users show their interest here, the more likely I´ll do the conversion.

Thanks,
Martin

PS: "pixelsonic" is my personal portfolio, VIZPARK is my online shop. I should probably register with VIZPARK here...

When I started Corona, I had no idea if people will want to use it, if it will be worth the effort... so don't worry and just do it ;)

Yes, I was only joking ;)
I don't think you will find out if it's worth it unless you do it (offer your products with corona mtls)

Thanks for your responses. Of course no one can predict the future and success or failure of such products. But this is kind of a simple market research that I want to do. If no one would have replied here, I probably would have considered this conversion less. It still is a lot of work and not worth it if it does not pay off for me. I do VIZPARK for a living and need to make decisions based on how successful a product is being sold.

The polls I started on some product pages show some preference for Corona. I just wanted to get more feedback here, thus this question.

Here are the products with polls:

Best,
Martin

Voted on what?

On implementing a native Corona library for the specific models this topic began with.

I "vote" for this also. Someone's gotta start with it :) I might be a bit early to see any profit but if there are more followers (and they sure will) then you're already ahead of the rest. good luck and let us know when this is available.

I had no idea you were planning trees ! But knowing how well done are the plants, I believe those will be great :- ). Please push them to extreme in GrowFx, 10mil+ poly is ok, mesh leave (9-12polies)+opacity map as well. Or I guess this will be modifiable anyway since it's grow file too. There is no comparatively rivaling product, just a LOT of shitty trees.
Well, I am all for !

Definitely agree with this. I voted also for the GrowFX presets. I know it won't get many votes, but for such objects it makes sense so everyone can tweak trees/grass to their own preferences and kickstart their own foliage libraries. I purchased GrowFX and any additional presets/models I can add to what I create would be fantastic.
