Hi,

I did a test.

I put a pfsource behind my object and the particles are randomly moving in a spiral in three directions.

As you can see, the particles in Motion Blur are rendered as a straight line, but the motion of the particles is not in a straight direction.

I have the same problem in Tyflow too.

As far as I know, this is how currently motion blur is handled per-object (the whole particle source is a single object in this case). I will find out and confirm. I will also make sure this is reported.

I *just* posted about particles and motion blur the other day and it seems like there is currently no known workaround that will generalize to produce geometry motion blur for most cases.

One option is to scale particles to zero rather than birthing / deleting particles, but this is not a particularly flexible solution.

I have not seen much evidence that TyFlow is pursuing support for Corona Renderer, so I'm thinking a solution would have to come from another direction.

Just logged this as a feature request for better particle motion blur rendering. We are also aware of some other related issues (e.g. tyFlow).
By the way, it works the same in Corona and in V-Ray.
