I cannot create this color using Corona Color. No need for a repro (hopefully), just try to type in the value in Corona Color: the input will register, but after it is submitted, the R value will revert to 0. What am I missing?

Unfortunately this is 3ds max's limitation. Native colour picker alows to enter only linear values, so you can never observe this issue in it, but Corona picker alows sRGB valuse and there's the issue becomes obvious. This issue was discussed in the forum many times, i may search for the links later and provide you for further reading.

I see, well if you are feeling generous, it certainly could be helpful reading material, although I suspect I am several years late to the party on this issue. I assume this pertains to the internal color space (WideRGB) Corona is using coming into conflict with sRGB?

"we would really love to make this work, but we can't because of 3ds Max".
