Hi,

I'm new to C4d, for some reason the displacement does not show correctly when I render the image, but it does on the material preview. Here are some captures of the problem. Even if a I set a higher number on the max level there is still no effect. I had use the same texture on 3ds max and It does work correctly. I also tried with other textures and is the same. I don't know if it may be a problem with the material, I'm uisng a corona "new material" so I think thas correct.
Please help!

Thanks!

Hi,
I suggest to turn off every map except displacement on the material and try to render. See if you'll be able to see displacement effect. Also try to increase max level higher - maybe your scene is not of correct scale and 5 cm is simply not enough?
I'm not Corona Team member. Everything i say, is my personal opinion only.

What romullus said.
You will get a 5 cm displacement only for a full range from black to white. You map is light grey to medium grey, so 2 cm maybe. Try a higher displacement value or a map with more contrast.
