Yes, the log of the rendering max instance on the servers. And because of
2019/02/27 16:20:04 ERR Server muletto1-pc did not acknowlege receiving new task.
What do you see in the Backburner Server window log when exactly this happens? You could increase log level by going to Edit -> log setting and tick "Debug" and "Debug Extended" to get all information. I'll attach a screenshot from a successfull task of a node for you to compare (funny that they still not have fixed that typo in the log message btw.)
Somehow it reads as if the BB-server could not save the required files locally? They go to AppData\Local\backburner\ServerJob from the user running the Backburner server usually. You could check if files arrive there when the server gets a job assigned in that directory.
It has never worked.
Then you have to setup Backburner / network correctly first of all. Some hints:
- Have you tried to disable the firewalls temporarily?
- Make sure, the nodes ("servers") have only exactly one network adapter active, there are quite a lot boards which have two. Disable the unused one.
- Disable IPv6 on that interface in use (untick TCP/IPv6 in adapter settings), on manager and at least one node to test
- Make sure you have a matching and updated Backburner version installed
But I guess the BB server log (not the manager log) will reveal something useful here.
Good Luck
