Bloom & Glare disappears during rendering (post yesterday "daily build" discussion)

Another problem :
If C4D renders a take, exposure is ok (-4.5)
If C4D renders Main, exposure is wrong (0).
Same render settings, same camera…

Please give the topics descriptive titles. Otherwise, we don't know what the topic is about by just looking at the title...

Hi,

Thank you for the scene. It is much easier for us to find the cause of the problem when you send us the scene. The issue with bloom and glare is that in the first passes bloom and glare is applied on fireflies but later fireflies disappear so bloom and glare for them too. Bloom and glare is applied to the pixels with high intensity and what is enough intensity can be controlled by the Threshold parameter for bloom and glare. But I am afraid that you don't have enough detail in the picture, please zoom the camera closer to the car or make resolution of the rendered image much higher and then you can tune the Threshold parameter.

I am looking for exposure issue right now.

Unfortunately, I can't reproduce the issue with exposure. Everything works on my computer. I opened your scene in R19, immediately clicked on "Render to Picture Viewer" when rendering finished I clicked on "Render All Takes to PV" and all (four) pictures have correct gamma. Do you do something more to reproduce the issue?

Thank you
Nikola

The final image is bigger (40x30 cm - 300 dpi). I'll do some tests with final resolution.

A lack of memory can produce problem with exposure (16 Go on my mac) ?
