Hello there,
I have some issues with scattering objects, any help?
  • can't scatter group object (when I add the group to the scatter selection it split the group and randomly add the object to the base object)
  • some object are placed outside the base object
  • some object are placed on both sides of the base surface

I have this kind of problems with object merged to the scene (is it possible??) do I need to set up the group? any merge option?
thanks in advance!

1) collapse your group of separate meshes into a single mesh

2) corona scatter scatters based on the pivot point of your mesh, not it's bounding box, if you have large geometry this will happen. You can try shrinking the bounds of your scatter surface to accommodate for this

3) the only way this would happen is if you had a separate element with flipped normals on your scatter surface (or your pivot point on your objects isn't on the bottom of your mesh)

Or using negative Z offset in the Scatter settings.
