Forest Pack patches distribution

I am trying to create lawn via forest pack patches like in this tutorial

patches render fine but when I distribute them over a new surface they won´t render.



any advice appreciated

I can confirm this problem. I have the same issue.

I have actually solved this :) - in nested forest object (the patches in this case) you have to switch from automatic to mesh rendering in display rollout - mode rollout
