Not sure if this is a bug or the design but if I put a corona sky in the environment slot, and then copy it to the direct visibility - when I adjust the exposure control, this affects the direct override version of the corona sky. It would be good to have an option to 'not affect background'.

This would be so that I can reduce the intensity of the corona sky that is visible and so that the light mix doesn't affect the direct visibility override.

Workaround is to adjust the intensity in the sky that is in the background environment slot.

I hope that makes sense.

The LightMix wouldn't be possible as far as I know - the Environment LightSelect is always going to affect the lighting and the directly visible background at the moment, even if they are two different sources (only way I can think of would be to add the background in post).

However, you can avoid tone mapping affecting the background using a Corona ToneMap Control (in the daily builds - Corona Output in 1.7.3) as that has the options to determine whether it is affected by tone mapping, exposure, or LUT. Use that in the Direct Visibility override and those controls won't change the visible background (though, if you adjust those after rendering, they will, so you'll need to be sure to have set your tone mapping, exposure etc before rendering).
