Hi,
when I create hair and fur on ANY surface, the renderer aborts. I tried to look for a solution in forum but I didnt find it.
I have dual xeons. I know some people with dual xeons too, and it works fine for them..

What specific CPU model are you using?
Can you try if the same thing happens in the newest daily build? https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000570015

There is a known bug, caused by H&F modifier not resolving paths with non-ascii characters correctly. Do you have any accented characters in your user name (windows account name) by any chance?

Yep, that's the culprit. We can fix this bug, but before the fix is released, the only way to prevent crashes with hair&fur is to log on to account with ascii-only name. Sorry about that :(

What is the name of your home folder (in C:\Users\)?
I don't think it is renamed when you rename your account.
