Hi Guys

I have a bit of a strange problem in that I use to work on two monitors.
We moved offices and I am working on one monitor now but when I want to access corona settings it does not show up
I take it that it is showing on the other screen. Has anybody had a similar problem and if so can you guys please assist

Kind regards

Hello,

Once you have clicked on the Render Setup button (or hit F10) to make it pop up, on your keyboard use the Windows key and hit an arrow key (right one if your other monitor was on the left, left one if it was on the right) 1 or 2 times to bring the Render Setup window on your main monitor.
In case you want to know more shortcuts using Windows key: http://www.shortcutmania.com/Windows-7-logo-key-Keyboard-Shortcuts.htm

I hope this will help you ;)

Cheers.

When my second monitor died and half of max dialogs became inaccesable, i found this little script that saved my day: http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/give-me-back-my-dialogs

Thanks guys !

What did the trick for me now was pressing f10 , when the render window is accessed
you must press Alt then spacebar then M for move , then you can press the directional buttons

Ill keep the script in mind Romullus : )

I'll add that any foreground window in WIndows can be moved with a key combination of "ALT+SPACE>M".
ALT+SPACE opens a special menu and the letter M is a shortcut to the move option. From there you can use arrow keys to move the window.

These things happen a lot when switching monitors, resolutions, swapping monitor positions, etc, so knowing different ways to move things blindly is useful.

EDIT: OP posted his reply while I was writing mine :D

"ALT+SPACE>M"

"M" would do nothing here. The international version is "Alt+Space -> CursorDown -> Return" :)

Good Luck

You mean like if your Windows isn't in English? I'm not a native English speaker myself, but I refuse to use tech in my native language (lol), so the M one is all I know, though techncally you can use the arrow keys to blindly select items on that alt+space menu.

Correct :) But at the same time it is the sole exception with historic roots: someone ordered German windows (Xp?) licenses long ago by accident.

but I refuse to use tech in my native language (lol)

Concerning software: same here - but with any other tech I usually prefer to talk German :) Afaik Win10 system language can be easily changed but I still have not tried yet on any box. Hmm maybe a pleasurable occasion right now :)

Edit: Worked flawlessly and quickly on a render node.

Good Luck
