Hello,

I have some questions about Corona license. I think these info can be useful for everyone, so.
For example, I have one Corona License (1WS + 3Nodes) and 10 PC:

(*) I remember that, some time ago, the Standalone was 100% free and we could install on all 10 PC of my hypothetical Render Farm. Is it still the same now?
(*) I have to render an animation. I want to use Backburner with all my 10 PC (I want to calculate one frame for every node). So, can I install 3ds max DEMO and Corona to all the nodes and use all my renderfam? Or I am restricted to use only 3 nodes?

Thanks you

The newest versions of Corona Standalone which are bundled with the installer require a regular Corona license. Older versions are available for free, for example the one which is used with the Blender plugin - https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?board=28.0

Rendering with Backburner with no 3ds Max UI visible will trigger a "render node" license, so with a [1+3] license you can activate a maximum of 4 computers like this (remember that workstation license can be used on render nodes too).

Yes, maru, but the thing that annoys me (already reported to you by email, remember ?:P) is that when we submit to only one machine, with BB, with this machine "calling" a few others for DR, this machine uses a workstation license and not a rendernode one ... other that that, everything works great :)
