Hi Guys

We work in SKP and import to max. I have made a slate roof ( just a bunch of rectangles in effect )
I've made a slate material and I want the multimap to randomize the hue and gamma.
To see if I have done it correctly I left the colour maps to see if the tiles become multi coloured ...as you
can see it stays a single colour when I use instance.
I've tried material ID and it seems to work ( tiles changes colours ) but there is hundreds of tiles , ( i've assigned two )
not looking forward to set mat id's to every single one, is there a faster way to use the multimap?

Id appreciate any help, thanks in advance

Hi. If this is one object with multiple elements, then you can use the "material by element" modifier to randomize the material ID, and then set the corona multimap to "Material ID".

Hope it helps
