Hi There

Looking stunning !
Is this Real Displacement Textures ?
Would you mind giving some details as to the setup ?
Is there a lot of subsurface involved ? I find that if I use a normal plane and corona material displacement is just does not look as good
Do you add displacement modifier ? or is this just slotting into displacement in Corona material ?

Thanks

Oh come on, people are working hard to prepare excellent scanned textures and then some gurus spreads "knowledge" about how to misuse it. Extremelly bad tutorial, he loads every single texture with gamma 2.2, then plugs it through output map and tries to eyeball glossiness strength. Normal map usage is even more genius - first he checks invert green - "looks about right", then uncheck it - "that way looks good too" :] I feel bad for his students, for which he brags in video's description...

Hi Yanosh, sorry if it seems that my previous comment was pointed at you. It wasn't at all. It just sometimes i get slightly mad when i see such teachers like that guy from that video and how they spread their bad habbits or even ignorance all over the place :[

As for tutorials, if you'll go with official Corona tutorials, you can't be wrong: https://www.youtube.com/user/CoronaRenderer ;]

If there's some uncovered topic about which you'd want to see tutorial from Corona Team, you can always write your wish in this topic: https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php/topic,8715.0.html :]

To further develop on this (gamma), maybe the following will help. Check item 3: https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000515647-how-to-configure-gamma-
