Hello !
lately I am working an interior project and I always have the same issue with cove lighting ...
I am using a simple rectangular corona light to imitate the led strip but when I raise the multiplier
the light glows irregularly , really annoying and I cant find the solution (the mesh is ok)

any ideas ?

This looks like a combo of light leaking due to geometry, low HD cache precision (try 2+), and the reflective black material producing reflective caustics (try making this a rayswitch material with a matt material in the GI slot).
Vray who?

That may be not the end of the story though. If your scene was created in 1.5 then some incorrect settings might still be present in your setup. It is advisable to install latest Corona version and reset render settings.
