As Juraj mentioned pivot issue is not a problem when we are dealing with: plates, bowls... but when it comes to more complex objects containing groups it's too time-consuming for me, I'm too lazy for this so I do it manually instead.

We use connecter too, great thing is right click add to library (advanced options let you place the pivot to bottom/centre) this goes for groups as well. Has made my life much better :)
