The initial purpose of this study was to participate in the annual Humster3D championship, between trails and errors I managed to reach the result in a relatively short time, only 19 days.

I started the process looking for references, I had some ideas, and what pleased me most was the artistic direction that Ghost Games had with the last Need for Speed and especially the fantastic work of Khyzyl Saleem (See that portfolio!)

With this study, I developed new techniques such as the application of wet materials for the first time. In addition, putting the whole scene together was a great experience.
There were countless details in this scene, from droplets of water trickling down the car to the full extent of the scenery that can be seen just below.

In this work I used Autodesk 3DS Max for modeling, Corona Renderer for rendering and Substance Painter for some detail in the textures. I hope you have enjoyed the result, C&C are welcome.

nice one...but imho, i dont think the shadering is good enough for the great modelling work...could be better...look for references in movies like sin city and the likes i suggest...great job!
