Hi,
DR was working like breeze before but today when i tried to use it, its not working anymore. Please see my screenshot. When i add this server, I get the message in cmd window "Starting 3ds max DR" but nothing happens afterwards. Window gets stuck there without any errors. As you can see CPU usage doesn't go above than 3%. Even RAM usage get stuck at 3.81GB.
And when i click cancel on my main machine, i still see the same message on cmd window "Starting 3ds max DR". I have to close Corona Drserver forcefully using task manager.

Steps i've done-
Tried to remove everything and reinstalled it, removed coronaRenderer folder from Appdata/Local.
After all these tries, its still not working. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

If it used to work and then stopped for some reason, my first guess would be some networking problem (e.g. router?).

Any chance to get DR logs?

Have you tried looking for the problem in the DR troubleshooting section?

hi, Sorry for the late reply. I didn't change any router settings. I even checked with corona 1.5 hotfix1 and the problem still persist. Sending you my DR logs.
Thanks

I experienced the exact same thing this week. 3dsmax 2016 and Corona Hotfix2. Some nodes were rendering, but some got stuck just the way sumeetgupta's.
Didn't have time to check for solutions / restart render farm due to deadline. Will see if the problem persists, or if I can find some solution next week.

EDIT: It seems DR is very unpredictable with Corona. Sometimes it works sometimes it just stops. For some strange reason, DR is working perfectly when i re-save my scenes with MAX 2015.
DR is an essential part of our workflow as we work with big resolution images. Any help would be appreciated! thanks.

Sorry for the lack of response. It is always the best idea to report any issues using our support portal: https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new

If DR works when re-saved with some specific version of 3ds Max, this may suggest a Backburner problem. Please make sure that you are using the version of Backburner corresponding to the version of 3ds Max you are using (e.g. Backburner 2015 and 3ds Max 2015).

We are also working on a completely new DR solution, and it should be available in Corona 1.6 (scheduled for 31.01.2017). Test versions should be available even earlier.
