I would say it looks super nice! The only parts telling that it's not a photo are the ones in focus - they are a bit too sharp IMO.

10/10 work.

Would you consider sharing your technique closer? I see from your Behance you're using Forest.

Why are you posting photos on the forum? Don't you know this place is for renders only ?!

;P

Great job. I echo everyone else and would love to see a process breakdown.

Really nice work. Love the attention to detail. I am suspecting corona scatter with polygonal hair cards with alpha maps to simulate the micro cloth strands effect? With hair strands, may be too render intensive?

Thank you for the appreciation guys!
I had initially started working on 3ds Max's hair & fur, but switched to using Forest Pro after random freezing and crashing. The fabric material is pretty simple with no displacement. For Forest Pro, I created some oddly shaped hair strands with spline and converted them to poly. I think this should work the same way with Corona Scatter.

I'm fairly new to using Corona (this is the second time I'm using it!) so if anybody has any suggestions for overall improvement, please let me know!

Hope this helps!

Madness! Was there an advantage using forest pro over corona scatter for this? RAM usage e.t.c

Yeah, I have tried hair and fur before for micro fibers on cloth, I found myself dealing with some of the things you mentioned above. If you aren't doing very close up shots, I try avoiding adding them, as it does crank up render time. With corona scatter, the file is easier to handle and rendering time is more manageable.
