Hey,
Am I blind or Is it possible to output the render from backburner into a Corona Exr so its possible to resume the render? Cant find any way to do it when submitting a job from 3dsmax, just when render locally.

Want to avoid to set alarm in the middle of the night just to start another render ;).

I also don“t know of any way of doing this, but maybe it could be easily implemented by another RenderElement or a checkbox of the CShading_Beauty RE which would turn the output in a (resumable) corona exr instead?

I have never used resume so I will not request this, but you are free to post it in "feature requests" if there is really no option to do so right now.

If you have enough ram you may consider rendering two cams/frames simultaneously with two max sessions.

Good Luck!

Never underestimate the power of a well placed level one spell.

I moved this to feature requests. I would like to know Ondra's opinion.
There was already a similar request for rendering on an external render farm and then obtaining the Corona EXR to continue rendering locally.
