one of the most realistic images on this forum. congrats... definitely interested in the making of. particularly how you combine hdri's with corona sun successfully to give such quality results in terms of atmosphere, overall tone and reflections. my peter guthrie hdri's are over blown in my mtl editor and viewport so makes it impossible to align my corona sun with the sun in the hdri. how do i get the peter guthrie hdri to appear visible like most other hdri's or like a regular jpeg in viewport when activated with ALT B and set to"use environment background"???

Open enviroment dialog (default shortcut 8), enable exposure control and choose logarithmic from a drop down list. You may need to tick exterior daylight option on or adjust brightness. Once done, you may leave exposure enabled - Corona disregards those settings anyway.
