There is official release for R23 - Corona 6 Hotfix 1

But no News nor Blogpost not even Home page refreshed ;)

Same way as you'd do material for Standard /Physical engine. Then simply copying Textures from Reflectance to Reflection channel of Corona Material. Or vice versa. Using either procedural or static approach. Both work.
ie. these are all procedural - (Physical vs Corona renderer):

2x Surface > Tiles > Circles 1 for Polka Dots & Lines 1 for Stripes
1x Noise: Voronoi 1 (clamped) is used to get more random dot pattern

material map path export/import depends on render engine used...
using scenes set w/ 3rd party engines, you have to reassign maps and reconstruct shaders/materials manually

Best would be to remove all unnecessary elements (leave just statics and lighting showing an issue) then share it for troubleshooting.

Light Object's and Material's occlusion are working same here. R23 w/ Corona 6.1
Can you share an example?

Go to
Render settings >Corona >Performance settings tab
and disable/uncheck New 2.5D displacement

Caustics are a fascinating subject. They are discussed through the study of singularities in geom optics and systematized by catastrophe theory. In CG recent advs like PG LPM SMS and LMC-GBA allow to render them while still having fun.

Switching off Frizz AND Kink helps, having BOTH on causes the crash, having EITHER off does not crash.

R23, Win 10, Corona V7 daily 2.
confirmed crashing on W10
& it seems like macOS is immune (from Imran's report @ discord)
would be of great help, if any other apple user is willing to test...

- lower shelves hole up
- higher ones, hole down

border between Low & High is ~ in the line of eyes :)
